
Riding Lessons
Cedar Creek Riding Stables offers instruction in English Riding for all
levels from Introductory to Advanced. Our instructors help students to become
comfortable and competent riders. Most sessions are 8 weeks in length,
consisting of a one-hour long lesson per week. Students are responsible for the
grooming of their mount and care of equipment before and after each lesson.
Lessons:
Group Lessons: Level 1 through 5 & Jumper Levels
8 week package, 1 hour group lesson, max. 5 riders in a group
Basic levels of instruction build the foundation of become a good
rider. The fundamental seat and skills necessary for the development for the
rider's confidence, balance and control of the horse.
Jumper Levels develop the rider’s jumping position and further improve
riding on the flat. Rider confidence is always emphasized. Development of an
effective seat and harmonious use of
hands and legs.
Children’s Classes 6–10 yrs
Lungeline – Used as an introduction to young riders, these lessons are conducted
one-on-one with the Instructor where horsemanship in the barn and while riding
is done with the assistance of the Instructor. Emphasis is on fun and building
confidence while learning the sport of riding. When the student can demonstrate
correct control of the pony, they will advance to the children’s group classes.
Lesson Policies:
Assessments
If you already have riding experience we will assess you to see what level you
would ride in our programs. Assessments take place on Saturdays and Sundays,
just call to set up an appointment.
Missed Lessons
If your rider will be missing a lesson, we will try our best to provide you with
a make-up class. However, we cannot guarantee that a space will be available for
make-up lessons. Only one make-up lesson per package is accommodated. 24-hour
notice is expected when missing a lesson.
Registration
All registrations must be accompanied by full payment. We cannot confirm your
space until full payment has been received. A charge of $25 will be charged on
all NSF cheques, in addition to the amount of the original cheque. Cheques
returned NSF will result in the individual’s loss of privilege for using cheques
as a form of payment. Cheques should be made payable to Epic Equestrian Inc.

Refund
A full refund is given should we cancel a program or if your rider is withdrawn
seven days prior to start of classes. Partial Refund The pro-rated program fee
minus a $15 administration fee will be refunded if you request a refund after
the session starts and before 50% of the session is completed. Please allow up
to two weeks for processing.
Sorry, No Refund For…a session once more than 50% of the lessons have been
completed.
